Marketplace Policy

Edgar’s Bakery’s Pick Up In Store option offers you the convenience of placing an order through edgarsbakery.com and subsequently picking up your item(s) at an Edgar’s Bakery location. This feature is intended to give our customers another means of ordering their cakes and other bakery items. When you arrive at the store, speak with an associate for assistance with order pickup.

Just follow these easy steps:

  • Place your order at edgarsbakery.com.
  • Carefully choose your desired pick-up location and time of pick-up.
  • You will receive 1 confirmation e-mail: an Order Confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order.
  • Bring your Order Confirmation email along with you to pick up your order.
  • Store pickup is valid only at the specific store selected by customer when placing order, during store’s normal operating hours and only for orders confirmed via In-Store Order Pickup Notification email.

Cancelling an Order
All online sales are final. If, for some reason, you need to cancel your order within the first 24 hours after your order has been placed, you may e-mail our Online Store Customer Service at marketplace@edgarsbakery.com with your order number, contact information, and request for cancellation. Requests for cancellation may or may not be granted depending on how far along your order has been processed on the store level.
Because your order has already been processed in our system, and the required products and ingredients have already been ordered to fulfill your order, requests for cancellation after 24 hours after your order has been placed cannot be satisfied.

Returning an Online Pick-Up Order
We want to completely satisfy you when it comes to your order!
When you arrive to pick-up your order, we will show you the product you ordered for approval. Because decorating cakes is an art, no two cakes can look exactly alike, even if made by the same person. Our decorators are highly trained and will use their talent to the best of their abilities to make the cake exactly how you expect it. If, for some reason, you are unsatisfied with its cosmetic appearance or you spot an error, we will attempt to remedy the situation.

Once the cake leaves our premises, Edgar’s Bakery is not responsible for the cake, unless there is an error made within the cake that could not be spotted when the customer originally viewed the cake for approval. In the rare event that an error was made within the cake (i.e. wrong cake layers or fillings), please call the location that your picked the order up at and notify them of the problem. We kindly ask that customers return the product before we can issue any sort of a refund or replacement. Marketplace policies may differ from normal Edgar’s Bakery Policies.

Changes to our Marketplace Policies
If we decide to change our Marketplace Policies, we will post those changes on this page or our other policy pages.
